This decadent and luxurious chocolate sauce recipe only requires two ingredients. It can be used for dipping, drizzling, or even folding into a yogurt bowl.
1cupdark chocolate chips, dividedI recommend Hu Chocolate Gems
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the milk and half of the chocolate chips to a small saucepan and warm on medium-low heat. Stir occasionally to melt.
Once all of the chocolate chips have melted, remove from heat and stir in the remaining chocolate chips until melted. You'll know it's ready once the warm chocolate sauce develops a creamy texture with a bit of shine.
NOTES
This chocolate sauce can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. I recommend using a glass jar so you can safely reheat the sauce in the microwave. A plastic microwave-safe bowl can leach harmful chemicals.
Do not use higher heat to melt the chocolate. This can make the oil separate from the chocolate and ruin the sauce.
If you prefer a runnier sauce, add a tablespoon or more milk to make it a little thinner.
